Music & Worship
Our Music and Worship Ministry, the Joyful Soundz, is made up of gifted and anointed musicians and worshipers. the Joyful Soundz prepare well to lead the congregation into God’s presence through praise and worship. They also organize musical concerts periodically. You will surely be blessed through their ministry. You can talk to the Director about joining them if you feel called into this great ministry. The Joyful Soundz meet every Friday night after the Teaching and Prayer Service to rehearse for the Sunday service. They also hold periodic retreats to renew and refresh themselves for more effective ministry.
LifeKids
The primary focus of our LifeKids Children’s Ministry is to guide pre-schoolers and children in their journeys toward a relationship with God through Jesus Christ by laying a strong biblical foundation that will last a lifetime. The children’s ministry have their on Bible study and worship service as part of Sunday Worship experience.
Youth
The goal of our Youth Ministry is to expose the Youth to God’s love, equip them to exalt God, connect with other believers, and experience the work of ministry. We teach, support, and encourage them to become obedient, baptized disciples of Christ who love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength, and who love others as themselves. The Youth Ministry organizes musical and outreach events, and an annual Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) in which youth from other churches participate.
Men
Our Men’s Ministry is designed to help men discover their unique calling as leaders in the home and the church. The ministry provides opportunities to equip the men develop and deploy their gifts and talents in the church and the community. The Men organize fun games and activities for the church family every year.
Women
Our Women’s Ministry brings the women together actively participate in God’s missionary effort and co-laborers with God. The women meet periodically to encourage and pray for one another, and engage in activities that enrich their spiritual and emotional growth. They also help the young ladies in the church to live for Christ in purity and dedication to service.
Christian Education & Discipleship
The Christian Education & Discipleship Ministry Team leads the church in fulfilling its mandate of making disciples who make other disciples. The ministry promotes lifelong teaching and learning of the Bible to enable members grow and mature in their faith as followers of Christ. The ministry team coordinates the formation of small groups, Sunday School and discipleship classes, training and equipping of teachers and provision of classroom space for Bible studies at various age group levels.
Missions & Evangelism
Word of Life Baptist Church exists to impact its community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Missions and Evangelism Ministry team coordinates the evangelistic, outreach, and missions activities of the church. They lead the planning and implementation of the evangelistic and outreach events and mobilize members to effectively participate in these events. They also coordinate donations to organizations that serve the needy within the community as part of our mission efforts.
Stewardship
Based on our belief that God is the source of all temporal and spiritual blessings, the Finance and Stewardship Ministry team assists members in the management and responsible use of their God-given gifts, talents, and financial resources to the honor and glory of God. The team mobilizes members to contribute cheerfully, regularly, systematically, and liberally toward the advancement of the church and its ministries. The team draws up the annual budget, monitors the budget, and issue periodic financial reports and statements for the church and the members.
Member Care
The Member Care Ministry team mobilizes and provides resources to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of members. The team ministers to those in critical need, and provide care and support for bereaved members and those who have additions to their families through births and marriages. Members.

Family Life
At Word of Life Baptist Church, we believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society, including the church. The Family Life Ministry Team provides pre-marital and post-marital counseling for couples, marriage and wedding planning, and handles marriage and family life issues involving church members.
Prayer
Believing that the prayer of faith and agreement produces miraculous results, our prayer ministry coordinates all prayer activities in the church. These include our corporate prayer meetings, revivals, fasting, deliverance, and the prayer warriors ministry. The goal of our prayer ministry is not to do all the praying for the church, but to equip, enable, and encourage church members to pray continually and effectively while making prayer a part of everything they do. However, our prayer warriors are always standing by to intercede for you through prayer and fasting.
