Rev. Charles Owusu has served as pastor of Word of Life Baptist Church since its inception in 2010. A licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, Rev. Owusu has served in ministry for over 20 years. He holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Ghana, as well as Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at NOBTS. Prior to his call into ministry, Rev. Owusu worked in the corporate world as a research and marketing specialist. He studied at the International Finance & Commodities Institute in Geneva, Switzerland, Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, the National University of Singapore, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
Rev. Owusu is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word because it has power to change lives. He believes that the church exists to make disciples, and is therefore actively engaged in planting churches where people can be taught God’s Word to transform them into committed followers of Christ who make other disciples. He also serves as an adjunct faculty at NOBTS, teaching Spiritual Formation and Discipleship courses at the graduate level, as well as Pastoral Ministries, Biblical Studies, History and Theology, and Christian Education courses at the undergraduate level.
Rev. Owusu is married to Lady Valentina, and they have been blessed with two daughters, Julia and Priscilla, and a son, David. When he is not teaching, preaching, or planting churches, Rev. Owusu loves to watch soccer and basketball, reading, and listening to inspiring music.

Minister Enoch has been involved in Youth Ministry for over a decade and is committed to raising a new generation of Christ followers who impact their families and peers with the Christ life. In addition to the Youth Ministry, Min. Enoch leads the prayer and spiritual warfare ministry of the church. He is currently pursuing his theological studies at the New Orleans Baptist Seminary. Min. Enoch is married to Dzifa and they are blessed with a son, David.
Mr. Martins holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Laws (LLM) degrees. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Apologetics. Mr. Martins is an experienced accountant and business administrator, who has practiced accounting, auditing, and administration for over 30 years. He is married to Eleanor, and they are blessed with three children, Isaac, Naa Dedei, and Anunyam.
Deacon Ben Yeboah is the CEO of Premier Group of Companies. He is very much committed not only to his own business, but even more, to God’s business of making disciples of all nations. He has been involved in the Christian education and prayer ministries of the church since its inception. He serves as the chairman of the Deacons Board of the church. DeaconBen is married to Millicent, and they have been blessed with three children, Chantel, Ben Jr. and Vania. He is a big Atlanta Falcons fan.
Deacon Ben Nutsutse is an engineer who brings into the church years of experience in the teaching and leadership ministries. He has served as a deacon for many years and is passionate about both in-reach and outreach ministries, evangelizing the lost and caring for church members, the teaching and prayer ministry. He is married to Gifty, and they are blessed with three children, Leslie, Harriet, and Ben Jr.
Deacon Joe has many years of experience in the Youth, teaching, music, and member care ministries. He has served as a deacon since the inception of the church, and leads the member care ministry. He is currently pursuing further studies at the University of West Georgia. He is married to Dora, and they have been blessed with four children, Margareth, Francis, Joseph Jr. and Princess.
Mr. Amankay has been involved in the music and worship ministry since his youth years, and has a heart for leading people to Christ through music. A capable leader and organizer, he has led the music and worship and music group in the church, the Joyful Soundz, to grow into a powerful ministry in the church. He is married to Josephine and they are expecting their miracle. Fred is a big soccer fan.
Mrs. Gifty Nutsutse is passionate about helping kids realize that they are completely known and deeply loved by God. She provides leadership to a team of dedicated teachers who teach and nurture our children to grow towards a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Her dynamism and dedication has endeared her to the hearts of the children and other teachers. She is married to Deacon Ben Nutsutse and they are blessed with three children.
