John 19:28-30

God has ushered us into a season of divine completion in this tenth month of the year. But everything we desire God to complete in our lives has already been completed by Christ on the cross. What we will experience this month, is a manifestation of what Christ has already accomplished in our lives.

Jesus’s last saying before He died was “It is finished!” (John 19:30). The Greek word _tetelestai_ has 3 meanings:

1. *To end or finish* – Christ brought to an end the battles, struggles, pain, shame, and distress we experience.

2. *To fulfill or accomplish* – Christ died to fulfill God’s perfect plan for our lives.

3. *To pay in full* – Christ died to fully pay for our sins, our healing, and our deliverance from every power of the enemy.

So, whenever we take the communion, we celebrate Christ’s death (1Cor.11:23-26). We remember at least 6 things His death accomplished for us.

1. Our sins were washed away by Christ’s blood, and the power of sin over our lives was broken. Sin has no dominion over us anymore (Rom.6:14).

2. Every pain, shame and disgrace brought on us by the enemy was removed by Christ’s suffering (Is.53:5).

3. Every curse on us was broken by Christ’s death on the cross (Gal.3:13).

4. The price for our healing was fully paid by Christ with His stripes (1Peter 2:24).

5. Everything contrary to God’s plan written or pronounced against us was wiped out and nailed to the cross (Col. 2:14).

6. Every power or principality fighting against us was disarmed, their plans overthrowned, and publicly put to shame (Col.2:15).

In this season of divine completion, we are going to experience all the above and more because Christ has already accomplished them. The manifestation comes through

1. Praying by faith in Jesus’s name (John 14:13).

2. Exercising faith in the finished work of Christ for us (Acts 3:16, 4:10).

3. Declaring what Christ has done for us to ourselves and to the devil (Job 22:28).

Because of the finished work of Christ on the cross for us, we shall experience healing, deliverance, victory in every battle and over every temptation, divine prosperity and success in our marriages, relationships, businesses, studies, projects, and ministries. Miracles, breakthroughs, signs and wonders, goodness and mercy will follow us this month, the rest of the year, and the rest of our lives. Shalom!
